What you can look up
- Pincode — every post office in that pincode, its type and whether it delivers.
- IFSC — bank, branch, address, MICR, SWIFT and the payment rails it supports.
- Post office name — find a pincode by area name.
- State or district — every pincode in that place, across all of India.
- Bank name or code — branch counts and the bank's details.
Why this exists
Pincode and IFSC data is public, but it is scattered across PDFs, stale mirrors and APIs that require a key or throttle you. This project cleans it into plain JSON files, keeps them in Git with their sources and licences, and serves them from a static host. There is no server to pay for, so there is no reason to charge you or limit you.
